At an early age I learned the value of expressing a unique point of view. As a Berkeley native I experienced the Free Speech Movement, public school desegregation, and anti-war protests. Naturally, I started making art in the legacy of a revolutionary spirit.

Today, I realize tradition is a series of innovations. A questioning of the effect that origin and society have on art continues to challenge convention. My place in the world has allowed me to animate objects with individual expression.
